We are delighted to announce that our Perinatal Self Care Programme has won the Sláintecare category of the HSE Excellence Awards 2024.
On November 28th at a reception in the beautiful Farmleigh estate Mid West ARIES was announced winner of the Sláintecare category of the HSE Excellence Awards. This is the first time a co-produced recovery education initiative has won at the Excellence Awards.

We would like to thank HSE Human Resources for organising the event and our partners in this endeavour, the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team, University Maternity Hospital Limerick particularly Pauline Walsh, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, and Dr. Mas Mahady, Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist and SPMHS team lead at UMHL.
Thanks also to the wonderful support we have received form senior management, particularly Nuala Kelly, Head of Service, Mid West Mental Health and Maria Bridgeman, Integrated Healthcare Area Manager, Limerick City and North Tipperary.
