The Irish Psychiatry of Old Age Nurse Education and Development Group Conference

L to R: Mike O’Neill, Manager, Mid West ARIES; Margaret Keane, Education, Training & Development Officer; Dermot Reilly, Chairperson IPOANEDG and Mary Russell, Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We were delighted to be invited to present at the The Irish Psychiatry of Old Age Nurse Education and Development Group (IPOANEDG) Conference in the Temple Gate Hotel, Ennis on Friday, May 16th.

Introducing the attendees to our brand new recovery education resource “CHIME for Teams”, Mike O’Neill, Mid West ARIES Manager, and Margaret Keane, Education, Training & Development Officer, explored using the CHIME Framework as a lens to test the health of a team. We were blown away by the openness and engagement of the attendees and wish to thank the organisers, Mary Russell, ANP and Dermot Reilly, Chairperson IPOANEDG, for their warm welcome and support. It was a privilege to be part of a wonderful community of dedicated and recovery focused professionals.

We also took the opportunity to introduce the national group to the HSE Mid WEST POLL webpage as an example of innovative public and staff engagement.
